Leigh and Kyle’s wedding at Mount Tom House in Harrisburg, Oregon was anything but ordinary, and exactly the kind of celebration we live for. Nestled in the middle of the Pacific Northwest’s towering trees and killer mountain views, their day brought together vibrant design, personal details, and laid-back energy in the dreamiest way.
Together for over seven years, Leigh and Kyle’s love story is steeped in adventure: from meeting in San Diego, to weekend REI runs, to getting engaged on a mountain trail. Naturally, the outdoors became the heartbeat of their wedding day. Every detail was designed to feel like an extension of them; a little wild, a little whimsical, and deeply intentional.
Planning kicked off more than a year in advance, and trust us, it paid off. The design centered around Leigh and Kyle’s love of the outdoors with bold pops of color that played beautifully against the lush forest backdrop. One of the most personal (and coolest) touches? Custom hand-drawn illustrations by Kyle’s sister, Danny Andrew. Her art was turned into everything from invitations to cocktail napkins to thank-you cards, custom signage; even featuring a sweet little deer-and-coyote duo that became a signature design element for the day.
Guests were greeted with etched stainless steel cups as favors: functional, stylish, and perfectly on-theme for a couple who loves the great outdoors (and appreciates a good beverage).
The florals were a vibe all their own: natural, artistic, and meadow-inspired, blending seamlessly with the mountaintop views. Together with an amazing team of vendors, we made sure every bloom, every tablescape, and every design detail reflected Leigh and Kyle’s easygoing but elevated style.
And while the forecast tried to psych us out with a triple-digit heat warning, the universe delivered cloud cover, a cool breeze, and crystal-clear skies, giving us the perfect setup for an outdoor bash.
The food? 100% vegan and 1000% delicious, courtesy of Grazing Oregon. Think creative taco bar with plant-based meats and cheeses that had even the carnivores going back for seconds. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Leigh and Kyle doubled down on originality with house-made ice cream from Travelers, complemented by an array of vegan doughnuts from Portland’s famous Blue Star Donuts.
As the sun dipped behind the trees, Pure Pulse Entertainment turned up the energy and the forest came alive. Guests danced under the stars, surrounded by sweeping views, good music, and even better vibes.
From the hand-illustrated details to the colorful blooms to the ice cream finale, Leigh and Kyle’s wedding was a masterclass in making your wedding your own. Bold, personal, and full of life; just like their love story.
